This session made me reflect upon the feedback I received for last year module: Developing Professional Practice. Initially, I thought it would have been a one-on-one chat with Adelina. However, we ended up having a group call on Team with a couple of classmates. Having to listen to everyone's feedback revealed to be extremely helpful. This way, I had the chance to listen to other people feedbacks as well. Throughout the session, I took some useful notes that will help me with future assignments and tasks.

ADELINA'S FEEDBACK

As I suspected, Adelina pointed out that the design of my website seemed a bit overwhelming. She suggested keeping it more simple, and easy to read, for future Employers. Maybe by changing the colours, and edit some of the text. Another aspect that slightly ruined the aesthetic was the poor-quality of some of the pictures I posted. On a positive note, she said that I had some strong visuals within my works.

As I left the Teams Call, I started playing around with my existing website. First of all, I changed the background colour from black to a light grey tone. This simple modification immediately changed its entire appearance, making my page less "heavy" and overwhelming, but still keeping it professional. I am still not entirely sure whether or not I want to modify the colour in the future. For now, using a lighter colour seems the best solution. I might consider switching the whole palette white so that it looks even more minimal and polished.

In the next couple of weeks, I intend to replace all of the low-quality pictures I posted.
