cooking show

This project was a collaboration with third-year students. The aim of this project was to be their production designers for the shows they were producing. I was in charge of designing a cooking show for Faye (one of the BATAR students). The first picture shows a magazine I designed in which I talked about this project. Here, I had to create the whole layout of the magazine. First of all, I came up with an inspiration board and I decided the theme of the show. The design I chose was cosy and warm. To achieve this result I decided to use wooden pallets and apple crates throughout the whole set.

Following, technical drawings about the kitchen area and the sitting area for the guests.  Then, some of the sketches and drawings I did to better convey the atmosphere. The final visuals were made on SketchUp using Vray next. These were and a realistic replica of how the set should have looked like.

This project has taught me to work in a team and to deal with a producer (even if she was just a student). I was extremely proud of the final result and I received an amazing feedback from Faye.
