Just yesterday I was thinking about designing my Business Card on InDesign. Today I decided to inform myself more about the process by watching a designated LinkedIn Learning video tutorial. This course, led by graphic designer Nigel French, covered every essential aspect of coming up with a design for an efficient Business Card. It was extremely informative and it showed step-by-step what to do, starting with where to position the Logo, whether or not to insert a picture, what sort of Info to type in and finally how to design it on InDesign. Throughout this video, I learned so many interesting facts such as the importance of choosing the font that best visually represents your identity as a designer and the importance of laying out properly the Card. The layout of a Business card is one of the first aspects people notice about it and it must be well thought. For my design, I intend to come up with a minimal symmetric design that represents somehow my professionalism and creativity, without looking excessive.
